Next Stylish Blogger Competition

Next are running a competition at the moment to win £500 to spend at Next. I found out about this competition on the All Baby Advice blog and although I don’t usually enter a lot of competitions this one grabbed me. To enter you have to put together an outfit from the Maternity or Children’s Wear departments from Next.

I may have got a little carried away!

For Kieran …..

Belted skinny indigo jeans £16

I love these. Kieran is a tall and skinny nearly 6yr old. This makes buying jeans a nightmare! These skinny jeans look great, won’t make him look like he’s wearing harem pants and the belt keeps them where they should be (he’s too young for the saggy bum look!).

Mario T-shirt £9

It’s all about the Sega characters in our house at the moment (as well as the Star Wars characters, the Batman characters, the….).
Kieran loves all things Mario which is why his birthday cake next week will be a Mario one (Shh, don’t tell him). This is “cool”, comfy and if it is anything like the other Next items I’ve had for him, great to wash.

Unfortunately, the British Summer isn’t always sunny, warm and dry so this sweater would be functional (warm) and looks great. Kieran, being “almost” 6yrs old is “grown-up now” (or so he tells me). He is much more picky about what he likes to wear nowadays and Next has become one of his favourite stores.

To complete the outfit…

Navy / tan trainers £18

Stylish, comfy and not too hard to clean the mud off!

Of course, when I get for one, I get for the other….
For Taylor (18 months).

London Bus PJs – £19 (Three pack)

I love these! For a three pack they are great value, look fabulous and being 100% cotton (excluding the trims) are easy to wash. Above all, they are cute, and having finally grown out of the baby-gro bed wear I have to rely on cute pjs to give me that “awww” feeling.

I am a big fan of Next. Their over the bump maternity jeans were a life saver when I was pregnant both times. They looked good (essential for when you are having fat days) and were so comfortable and supportive (essential for all days!). For those browsing for Next maternity wear I can highly recommend these:

This is a great opportunity. If I was a lucky £500 winner I would, after picking myself up off the floor, be able to really kit the boys out with some fantastic stylish and hard wearing outfits (including extra school wear for the boy that goes in clean and tidy and is returned scuffed and looking like he’s been dragged through a hedge backwards). I might even treat myself to something, after all, all Mums deserve a treat now and then!
