Ollie & Leila: Exclusively For Children

Ollie & Leila, Gingham bedding

We moved house recently which means that Taylor (the 6yr-old) has a much better bedroom size and layout-wise. This also means that we have had a blank canvas in terms of style and design and Ollie & Leila have started the ball rolling by sending us some lovely bedding to review.

The Ollie and Leila blue gingham bedding set features the grown-up (I’m told by the 6yr old) gingham pattern but has “snuggly stars on the other side”. Clearly, my son has a future in marketing.

Made from 100% soft touch cotton, this really is actually very snuggly (according to our model, Rusty, who was all too keen to test out the bedding for us).

The beauty of a style such as this is that it is decorative enough as it is, yet plain enough so that it wouldn’t clash with anything else we chose to put into the room.

Having a nosy around the site I’ve also spotted Ollie & Leila’s children’s cabin bed range, which might well help me make the best of the space in his room, without it becoming too cluttered. Do your children have or have had children’s cabin beds? I had one as a child but they didn’t offer anywhere near as many options as these ones do. I’m tempted by one with a pull-out desk, so that Taylor may colour in etc now or use it for homework and more grown up tasks later.

Thanks to Ollie & Leila for sending out this bedding. The quality is far superior to other brands I’ve tried out recently and they are just so cute. A solid 5/5 from us (the parents, the boys, and Rusty). If you’re looking for affordable yet high-quality bedding and so on, I would definitely suggest looking Ollie & Leila up. We already have a wish list put together of different items we’d like to add to Taylor’s room and even Kieran’s.
