Bizarrely during the recession we have become better off, a combination of loans being paid off and hubby getting a better job. However we have become used to not spending much and I am much more frugal! This is handy as I expect to lose one of my jobs next month due to lack of work. 2 years ago this would have been disastrous but now it's more annoying than anything else. I'm looking for something else but I can afford to be a bit choosy!
